Recently, through investigation, JR coordinated with Shenzhen police successfully destroyed a large factory involved in manufacturing, processing and exporting CF HP ink cartridges, and seized in total 4908 units of CF HP ink cartridges, 400 units of CF HP packaging boxes, 19500 pieces of CF HP security labels and numerous other packaging materials. All the counterfeiting equipments were seized according to law. Through accounting, it was found that the value of this batch of CF HP products was around RMB 1000,000. All the five responsible persons, who were Liu X Fei, Liu X Feng, Liu X Liang, Yu X Yun and Liu X Hua, of the counterfeiting factory were arrested according to law and in face of the sanction of the law. This case is still in further trial.

 According to the police, the target syndicate was very cunning, with rich experience in counterfeiting and strong anti-tracing ability. The target syndicate obtained high profits by purchasing the recycled HP ink cartridges and recycled security labels, then processing, refilling and packaging the recycled HP products, finally exported the CF HP ink cartridges abroad. This raid action prevented the CF HP products from flowing into overseas markets effectively, purified the market environment and protected the interests of the consumers. In the mean time, the raid action conveyed to the merchants HP’s resolute attitude of conducting raid action against any counterfeiting that violated HP’s intellectual property rights.
